SMS Notifications

Create a SMS Destination

SMS phone numbers must be registered as Notification Destinations in the Foji Settings application. This ensures that all communication is verified and not sent to any unknown numbers.

1. Log in to your Foji account and access the Settings application
2. Click on Destinations found in the navigation menu under Notifications

   

3. Click the New Destination button in the upper right corner

   

4. Click SMS Text Message in the list of available destination types
5. Select your Country from the list
6. Enter your mobile Phone Number
7. Click Create

SMS Destination Verification

After creating a new SMS destination, you will receive a verification code message. You will need to complete the destination verification process using this code.

1. Log in to your Foji account and access the Settings application
2. Click on Destinations found in the navigation menu under Notifications

   

3. Click the Verify button for the related SMS Destination

   

4. Enter the Verification Code in the dialog
5. Click Verify

Create a SMS Subscription

Notifications are sent via subscriptions. You will need to configure one or more subscriptions based on your specific needs.

1. Log in to your Foji account and access the Settings application
2. Click on Subscriptions found in the navigation menu under Notifications

   

3. Click the New Subscription button in the upper right corner

   

4. Click the Subscribe button for the desired notification source
5. Enter a short message in the Title field. This message will be included in the body of the SMS notification.
6. If applicable, configure an action for the optional url to be included in the SMS notification
7. Select SMS Text Message in the Channel option
8. Select your verified SMS Destination in the Destination option
9. Click Create
